where does the money raised from the festival go?
A community social hub for Kingston Blount and Aston Rowant
Other than reinvesting profits to next year's event to make it bigger and better funds raised from Rowachella go towards Aston Rowant Cricket Club and maintaining it as a community social hub for Kingston Blount and Aston Rowant. Cricket club's are expensive enterprises to run and rely heavily on a number of volunteers to manage, run and help raise funds to keep the place going. Rowachella is one of the many fundraisers that the cricket club hosts each year and we are extremely grateful for all the support since we launched in 2022. Please be aware that the event is managed and run entirely by volunteers so every penny of profit raised from you buying a ticket or having a drink goes towards supporting our causes, thank you :)
Keeping Youngsters Active
The cricket club has a massive junior section and a lot of the funds raised from Rowachella pays for the equipment they use and helps pay for the coaches to maintain their qualifications. New Pavilion Project for 2024
This year the cricket club are building a pavilion on the second ground to support its junior and development teams progress their games. A significant proportion of any funds raised this summer will go towards this project which couldn't happen without your support so hopefully that'll make the beer taste even sweeter!
